Well things keep going well. Tundra had chemo treatment #2 today and the Dr. said his blood counts were good. As peppy as Tundra is, and showing nothing of any side effects through all of this, I wonder if they are giving him the placebo!
The photo below is one I have meant to post…
Lookin’ goof there Tundra! 🙂
Where did you get those Ruff Wear boots? Those haven’t been available in blue for a long time.
Joyce ordered them in black and we got a call that they were out and asked if we would take blue. That’s how you get them there stylin’ booties! 😉
Hi there Tundra and mom/dad- he looks like he’s doing great!! Just read your blog! What an ordeal you guys have been through! The story sounds very familiar. Large breed dog limping.. etc etc.. I did hear from somewhere.. yes my vet said they put 70% of their weight on their front legs. I can imagine the decisions regarding bone sparing etc that you must have had to endure. (that bone sparing sounds wicked to me, but I know is necessary sometimes) I guess that Patou having once been 140 pounds that I am lucky he is a hind leg amptuee. I just wanted to say nice posts… glad that Tundra is doing SO well. He is gorgeous by the way. My Lucy Pyr has been mistaken for a malamute or husky mix before. She’s all Pyrenees but has some noticable badger markings that I supposed people mistake for husky/malamute markings. Patou has had his 1st chemo about a week and a half ago, so I will be checking your blog for your updates and that helps with progress on our end. Oh my gosh… isn’t this site just a blessing!! Good luck and I will be popping in from time to time to check on Tundra. Such a beautiful dog! (I’ve always had a secret passion to go mushing!! have you ever been??)
good luck
janet and Patou
Pretty snazzy blue booties! What a great colour on him.
Glad to hear his chemo treatments have so far been uneventful! That’s simply awesome.
Attaboy, Tundra!
That is adorable. He looks ready for adventure. Keep on truckin, Tundra!
Cheers,
Rosie
